Now that you are busily training for the 2007 season, you might want to consider keeping track of all of your miles swimming, biking and running.  Here is a great opportunity to keep track of your training in 2007 so that you can find out what worked and didn't work!

Note : you must be a KTC MEMBER to participate.
 
Directions to the Newport subdivision in Crosby:  
  • Travel East on FM 1960 (towards Huffman).
  • Turn RIGHT on FM 2100 (towards Crosby).
  • Once you turn on FM 2100, go over railroad tracks and continue approx. 7 miles.
  • Pass the main entrance to Newport, where there are two small ponds and fountains.
  • You will take the next entrance, turn RIGHT on S. Diamondhead.
  • Continue on Diamondhead until it dead ends to a gate.
  • You have arrived at the River and Lake Gate.

Church on the Lake (off of 1960 towards Huffman) - not started in 08
Tue/Thurs 5:45 pm (fast group 22+mph)

                   6:00pm (avg. speed 18+)

Starbucks (W. Lake Houston & Kingwood Dr.)

Saturdays at 7:00 am - distances 25 or 40+ (avg.  speed 20+)

Sundays at 7:00 am - distance usually 25-30 (avg. speed 18-20)

Flying J (242 and 59)

Saturdays at 8:30am - distances 25, 30, 40, 50 at 15-17 mph pace

 

*Additional rides may be added at any time based on the local riding groups. We will attempt to send out e-mails to keep you informed of theses opportunities.
